Woman awarded £229,000 after deceit by spycop overseen by Scotland’s former police chief
An environmental activist deceived into an intimate relationship by an undercover police officer who operated in Scotland has been awarded £229,000 in compensation.
Spycop’s alias confirmed by public inquiry
Simon Wellings was the alias used by a so-called spycop who operated north of the border after infiltrating the anti-globalisation group, Global Resistance.
